Free Cancellation Policy for Sasta Room

At Sasta Room, we understand that plans can change, and we strive to accommodate the needs of both our guests and hosts with a fair and transparent cancellation policy. This Free Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions under which guests can cancel their bookings without incurring any charges.

Eligibility for Free Cancellation

  • Time Frame: Guests can cancel their booking for free up to 24 hours before the scheduled check-in time. The exact time frame for free cancellation will be clearly stated during the booking process and in the booking confirmation.
  • Notification: To cancel a booking, guests must notify Sasta Room and/or the host (as specified in the booking confirmation) within the eligible cancellation period.
  • Instant Booking Listings: For listings with an ‘Instant Booking’ feature, the free cancellation policy applies as per the standard terms unless otherwise specified by the host in the listing details.

Processing Cancellations

  • Upon receiving a cancellation request within the free cancellation period, Sasta Room will process the cancellation and send a confirmation to both the guest and the host.
  • Any prepayments or deposits will be fully refunded to the guest within [insert number of days] business days, depending on the payment method used.


  • Non-refundable Bookings: Some listings may be marked as non-refundable. These bookings are not eligible for free cancellation, and guests will be informed of this policy before completing their booking.
  • Special Circumstances: In cases of extenuating circumstances or emergencies, guests may be allowed to cancel outside of the standard free cancellation period. These exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Changes to Bookings

  • Guests wishing to change their booking (e.g., dates, room type) must contact Sasta Room or the host directly. Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges as per the host’s policies.

Host Cancellations

  • Hosts are encouraged to honor all bookings. However, in the rare event that a host must cancel a confirmed booking, guests will be offered a full refund or the option to rebook a similar accommodation, subject to availability.

Amendments to the Cancellation Policy

  • Sasta Room reserves the right to modify or update this Free Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on our website.
